As all TEC customers know, Alabama Living Magazine is a
subsidiary publication of our Electrical Cooperative and a way and
means of sharing information with our customers about their Tombigbee
Electric.
As part of TEC's plans to make your magazine more readable and more
interesting, we are happy to announce that, beginning with the September
issue of Alabama Living, Kay Marshall will be taking over
the TEC sections of the magazine.
Recently, Kay met Alabama Living magazine Editor, Darryl
Gates (below left), and Graphic Designer, Michael Cornelison (middle)
who visited TEC from their Montgomery AREA offices. Also at the
meeting were General Mgr., Steve Foshee, and Computer Department
Mgr., Buell Harris. Together they discussed ways to improve and
expand TEC's pages within the magazine.

A native Marion Countian, Marshall has a vested interest in the
promotion of our area's towns, citizens, and events.
"My roots and my interests lie within this area, and I'm
delighted to have the opportunity to serve TEC and our surrounding
counties in this capacity, Marshall said. "It's my hope
to eventually draw new and younger readers to this great little
magazine, and of course to help promote the interests of both TEC
and our area as well," she said.
Kay invites the community to Email
her with ideas for community or human interest stories; please put
Alabama Living in the subject line of your Email. Or phone TEC (205.468.3325)
and we'll put Kay in touch with you.
We hope you'll enjoy the online version as much or even more than
you do the print version. You can't misplace this copy!
Be sure to look for new features within the upcoming months which
will give local area merchants the opportunity to promote their
businesses on Tombigbee's section of Alabama
Living.com.
