a good time to be a member of a Co-Op." |
The Co-Op is financially
stronger today than ever before. Unlike large corporations (Enron)
your locally owned Co-Ops have integrity. We are implementing a
variety of ways to pay your bill, Credit Card, Bank Draft or Internet.
We are also working on recruiting new industry, like Alan White
Inc, which we supply power to. It’s a good time to be a member
of a Co-Op.
Our re-conductoring
program has replaced over 50 miles of line with new and larger wire.
This larger wire is more efficient, less susceptible to breakage
and reduces effects of lightning damage. We have changed transformers
and dedicated a new substation. Implemented a new program that allows
us to read your meter from the office. All to improve the quality
and reliability of service.
Of
course, I am disappointed in our failure to reach a quorum, so I
would encourage everyone to attend next years annual meeting. The
older generation can remember times before electricity, the younger
generation cannot imagine life without it.
Young & old alike need to be involved in supporting your Cooperative.
